About Spanish To Go

Founder & owner Chela Villate has been teaching Spanish for over 15 years. She was born and raised in Colombia and has been in Canada for 30 years now. Chela taught at the Institute of Language and Culture at Seneca College, the Spanish Centre in Toronto, and she is a certified teacher.

Method:

Spanish To Go courses focus on both conversation and the underlying grammar needed to master and feel comfortable with Spanish. You will learn grammar principles while applying them in conversation related to everyday and real-life situations.

As part of the course, one of the classes will be devoted to a Spanish-language cultural event in the immediate area.  For those students who want to have Spanish immersion as part of the curriculum, one of the options we offer is for students to travel to a Spanish-speaking country. 

This combined approach is a practical and fun way to learn and improve your speaking and comprehension, which are essential to communicate confidently and effectively in Spanish.
